Sales Analysis in Miner3D
The following Miner3D solution demos are focused on analysis of sales data.
The goal is to provide a comprehensive information on sales performance at various levels of the organization's sales channels.
In general, Miner3D can provide answers to the following type of questions:
- What products are profitable?
- Who are our customers, and what and how are they buying?
- What is the performance of each distribution channel?
- What accounts are most profitable?
- Is there any seasonal variance to the business?
- What are the trends in our sales?
Miner3D generates ad-hoc in-memory and online queries and visualizes complex 2-, 3- or even higher-dimensional information
structured by products (category, sub-category, items), territories (country, region, town), or by time (total, fiscal years, quarters, months).
This information is handled as-needed, directly from the user's PC and delivered in seconds in a all-visual form.
Used technologies:
As data source has been used "AdventureWorks", the demo data warehouse of a virtual company.
This database is freely available for download as a standard demo content for Microsoft SQL Server.
At the bottom of this page you can download the original M3D files for each of the models.
Versions for an OLAP database or one for a local data are available.
In this demo we use a database hosted on server "corsair32", please make necessary adjustments
when connecting to your own servers (set the real server name at your site and check user privileges).
