Configuration of Oracle Net Manager

Before you will be trying to connect to your Oracle server, contact database administrator to obtain your database access credentials. This typically includes server host name, service name and your username and password.

Add Net Service Name. (Use this name in Miner3D connect dialog.) Enter database service name. Enter host name and port number. Then close the Net Manager and make sure to save the changes you have just made.

If you are still unable to make a successful database connect ask your database administrator for assistance with Net Manager configuration. Make also sure that your environment is transparent to the database service and that network firewalls do not filter Oracle database packets.
