If you experience troubles using Miner3D software please consider updating your video driver to the latest available version. Miner3D runs on OpenGL graphics libraries and sometimes it happens that video drivers are not in the best shape. Updating video driver often helps and resolves more than 95% of problems. The recommended procedure is like this:
-
Download and install the newest possible video drivers that fit your machine from the vendor's web site.
Usually this is can be found in "Support", "Drivers" or "Download" sections.
Download it, install and reboot if necessary, then try Miner3D again.
Start here: DELL, HP, IBM, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony, Gateway, Acer, Asus
-
If the above does not help, download video drivers directly from the video chip producer's website.
Start here: NVidia, ATI, Intel, Matrox, 3Dlabs, Diamond Multimedia
-
If the above does not help, it might be helpfull to update
Microsoft DirectX
libraries as well.
-
If the above does not help, try to update your computer's BIOS system software.
This file is usually available at the same location as in the step #1.
- Run OpenGL Config (use Windows START button > All Programs > Miner3D > Tools > OpenGL Config). First try to choose hardware graphics modes (without * asterisks). Select and then press "Save & Exit" at bottom right, then try to run Miner3D. If the problem persists, try to repeat with other hardware modes. If there are no good results, try to choose a suitable software mode (*). That way you can avoid compatibility problems or problems with slow performance.
