The visualization below is built on data from Global scheme provided by Oracle as a free demo available for Oracle 11g database users. Customers and Products are mapped on the base. Color represents Sales and cylinder heights represent Units sold. All the chart is animated by historical data collected from February 1998 till December 2006. The entire data set exceeds 250,000 data points and thus you can imagine the size of the original report! All the information is clearly and meaningfully displayed in just about 40 seconds movie...
